Work, wellness and creativity with Harriet Pellereau

Harriet Pellereau is co-founder and co-CEO of digital habits behaviour change company Mind over Tech. She spent 9 years working at award-winning tech education company Decoded. As Teaching Director, she worked closely with corporate clients to build and facilitate transformational courses for senior leadership teams, and led a team of 30+ data scientists to deliver data skills courses to Fortune 500 companies. Harriet has a background as a technologist and digital creative, and started her career developing 3D animations and web experiences for advertising clients, and interactive apps for media companies. As a parent, Harriet is on a mission to improve her own digital habits and to support her young children with theirs, to ensure technology is a positive influence in their lives.

Nadia Piet is an independent designer, researcher, organizer, and cultural producer with a focus on AI/ML, data, tech, [digital] culture and creativity. She’s the founder of AIxDESIGN [a community of practitioners & living lab for beyond-corporate AI], holds an MA in Data-Driven Design, and explores playful & purposeful tech through freelance projects and self-initiated experiments. Over the past 10 years, she’s worked as Head of Creative Technology at DEPT [a global digital agency], design researcher for emerging technologies at Bit, and across roles and continents with organizations such as Hyper Island, Pi Campus, Forbes, UN, AWWWARDS, DECODED, MOBGEN | Accenture Interactive, Mozilla, and ICO.


Jessie Smith co-designing AI

Jess is a PhD student in the department of Information Science at CU Boulder. Jess received her Bachelor’s in Software Engineering from California Polytechnic State University. Her research foci include machine learning fairness, algorithmic bias, value tensions in sociotechnical systems, and the unintended consequences of rapid tech growth.
